Upgrade to Windows 8 for just 699 Rupees!

The prices for Windows 8 have been set. It's looking good for India.

Believe it or not PC's with a valid Windows 7 installation are eligible to upgrade to Windows 8 for only 699 rupees. That's a throwaway. This could be a decision to curb the huge amount of software piracy taking place in India. But, really just 699 smackers for an OS that's a huge step forward from its siblings seems to good to be true. We've just gotta wait and see.
